Vice Captain 2017/18 Results
I’m very pleased to share with you the news you that Tony Zutshi will become Hunley Gents’ Vice-Captain for 2017/18. Congratulations Tony!
With only 6 votes separating both Ian and Tony, it shows how popular both gents are.
Tony will begin his tenure as Vice-Captain on Sunday 19th November and I know he will be offering the incoming Captain Steve Linford his full support.
Tony is a popular figure within sections of the Hunley membership and I’m sure he will be an excellent Vice Captain and an equally good Captain in 2018/19.
Commiserations to Ian Mitchell who I know will be a brilliant candidate for Captaincy in the future.
It gives me great pleasure to announce Sheila Wilkinson has been elected the Ladies’ Vice-Captain for 2017/18. Congratulations Sheila!
Sheila will also begin her tenure as Vice-Captain on Sunday 19th November and I know she will be offering the incoming Ladies Captain Eileen Barnes her full support.
Sheila is a big part of the ladies section and I’m sure she will be brilliant Lady Captain in 2018/19.
I’m happy to announce that Harrison Brown will be taking over from Dan Twiby as Junior Captain. Harrison has had a brilliant last year working his way into Union Team and I look forward to seeing him work with the Junior Section in the coming year
I look forward to seeing similar success next season and see him lead the junior team to victory.
We now look forward to the Captains Drive-in/Shotgun on Sunday 19th November.
