Cook Trophy this Saturday
This Saturday is the Cook Trophy Mixed competition.
The format is Foursomes Mixed pairs. Entry is £2.50 and the tee times run from 1pm.
Please book in via the online booking system and book in with your pair. If you wish to play and do not have a pair, please let me know and I will try and get you paired up! I already have 4 ladies that are looking for a partner.
The Draw will be made on Thursday afternoon.
Flexi Members are not eligible to play in this competition.
Pink Ladies Golf Bonanza & Family Fun Day
On Saturday 2nd June 2018 we will be hosting a 9am Shotgun event.
The entry fee will be £90 for a 4 man team which includes:
- Golf
- BBQ
- Family Fun Day in Afternoon
For additional family members or if you don’t wish to play golf, separate tickets for the BBQ & Fun Day are available at £10 per adult & £7 per child
Prizes are as follows:
- 1st Place – £100 for team
- 2nd Place – £60 for team
- 3rd Place – £40 for team
- Best Dressed – Bottle of Wine
- NTP: Dozen golf Balls

Special Friday Night League this Friday
Club golfers throughout Great Britain and Ireland will have the opportunity to tee it up at Carnoustie shortly before the world’s greatest golfers compete at The 147th Open in July.
A group of 42 men and women will compete in pairs by Stableford in the second staging of The R&A’s 9 Hole Championship Final after securing their places through qualifying events run at golf clubs at which they are members.
The Final of the 9 Hole Championship will be held on Saturday 14 July and will played over the first four and last five holes of the Championship Course at Carnoustie.
The Event shall be open to amateur golfers of all ages in possession of a competition “c” handicap under the CONGU Unified Handicapping System, maximum 28 (men) 36 (women).
The leading 2 scores from the event will be added together to form a pair. A pair may include only one player under the age of 18.
This Friday is your chance to qualify at Hunley!
The leading 10 pairs in the country based on their combined stableford points will be offered the chance to play in the 9 hole competition organised by the R&A at Carnoustie on Saturday 14th July just days before the 147th Open Championship.
