Greg’s Greenkeeping Blog February 2017
February was mostly a good dry month and which for the most part has been the trend this winter. We have continued with our program of bunker refurbishment completing improvements on 3 more holes, machinery servicing and maintenance has progressed close to completion and we have been carrying out some preparation to the playing surfaces with mowing of key areas and with treatments to the greens and approaches.

Greenkeeping Update with Greg 27/2/17
Some good dry days allowed us to begin cutting some of the long rough areas with the Wiedenmann last week and this has given us a good head start before the growing season really begins. We have had a fair bit of rain since then but as soon as conditions allow we will continue to clean up the roughs.
Greenkeeping Update with Tom 20/2/17
Last week saw another bunker project completed with Guible greenside bunkers having alterations. The two bunkers were changed to one, with open ground now created where the left bunker was. The new bunker fits in with the rough style bunkering that we are employing in our new design work and the open ground fits in with the running game philosophy we try to promote.
