After a winter without much rain, March saw quite a bit fall, leaving some areas very wet for a period. That said it hasn't hampered us too much and the course is all ready for the busy schedule of golf to begin.

February was mostly a good dry month and which for the most part has been the trend this winter. We have continued with our program of bunker refurbishment completing improvements on 3 more holes, machinery servicing and maintenance has progressed close to completion and we have been carrying out some preparation to the playing surfaces with mowing of key areas and with treatments to the greens and approaches.

2016 has come to an end and we now head into the new year with lots to look forward to. The year started very wet and although things dried up quickly the temperatures remained well below average for the first 6 months. This saw conditions frequently bringing mist and fog and whilst the course was in prime condition, we lost quite a few days through course closure due to a lack of visibility.
