After completing the work on the left side of Brownies Bough last week, this week we will be completing the job by carrying out similar on the right hand side.
The bunker will be revetted and the surrounding area regraded to integrate the surrounds into the approach.
If the weather remains dry in the coming weeks we shall focus most of our time working on the bunkers.
Aside from that there are a few smaller remedies taking place.
We will be revisiting some of the work from last winter that came to an abrupt end because of the horrendous spell of weather.
The teeing area at Pennington’s and surrounding area is to see some alterations and also the right of Morgan’s Mound fairway needs to be lifted, levelled and returfed in places.
Ropes have been put out now on some of the holes, please take trolleys and buggies around these and not under/over them. They are there to protect the turf in close proximity to the greens and prevent bare lies come spring.
Thanks and that’s all for this week.
Happy golfing,
Greg
