Stableford Result
With horrendous rain, wind and bitterly cold conditions, the Stableford yesterday was always going to be tough to get some good scores in.
Josh Mitchell came 1st with 36 points – a cracking score in that weather. Steve Bushby & Ryan Johnson had 34 points and came 2nd and 3rd.
Kev Boyes won the nearest the pin on Toon’s Tier.
As no one had a two on the set holes, we did a card draw and Ken Skelton was drawn, therefore winning £20.
Well done to all that battled the weather!

Annual Handicap Review
This years handicap review will take place between Christmas and New Year. Every golf club in the country has to run the review in accordance with CONGU and England Golf.
The process is generated by the handicapping system. All members that are deemed to either need a reduction or an increase in handicap are published to the golf club. Both Qualifying competitions and Non-Qualifying competitions are taken into account. Once we have this list, myself and Steve Swales will work through each individual record to deem whether it is necessary to reduce or increase their handicap.
In addition to the computer generated list, Hunley have brought in a process where members are allowed to nominate themselves and / or other members that they believe need their handicap to be reduced or increased. If you feel the need for any fellow member or yourself to be reduced or increased, please email your request to myself with reasons.
The reason that we do the Annual Handicap Review is so that every competition is played on a level playing field and members handicap reflect their true playing ability.
