Walker Cup 19th & 20th August
Please enter online only in the section on the Saturday. If you can only play on one of the days, please let me know via email on [email protected]. Add your name to a tee time and we will endeavour to get you as close to that tee time as possible when the draw is completed.
Tee times are from 7:00 am with the last one being 10:52 am on both days.Playing the competition will be prohibited outside these times.
Historically we have been inundated with last minute changes for any competitions with draws produced 7 days before so for this reason entry will not close for the Walker Cup entry until WEDNESDAY 16TH AUGUST at 5pm. The draw will be posted online and in the locker room at 7pm. Please note that we will run a reserve list. If you miss the deadline to enter, you will be placed on it and we will try to get you a game.
The format for the Walker Cup is a 36 holes full handicap singles medal played over Jubilee course. The entry fee is £6,which is payable on the first day. The entry fee for playing one day remains at £6.
May I remind all competitors that it’s the individual’s responsibility to make himself available for the playoff if the situation arises. If you are in contention when entering your score into the computer, please leave the Pro Shop staff a suitable number to contact you on before leaving or alternatively stay in touch with the Pro Shop throughout the afternoon so you know if you need to return.
Flexible members are unable to enter this competition.
Magoo’s Memorial Day
Magoo’s memorial day will be played on the 26th August. Simon Wilksinson and Craig Hartas are the organisers. Please find more info about the day HERE
Melbourne Motors Charity Day
On Sunday the 13th of August we are hosting the Melbourne Motors Charity Members Competition.
The format will be a Qualifying Stableford from the Yellow tee boxes for Gents and Red tee boxes for the Ladies.
The entry will be £5 Cash per player and all proceeds will go to St Margaret’s Church, Brotton.

1st Division
2nd Division
3rd Division
Ladies
Juniors
In addition there will be 3 Nearest the Pins and a Straightest Drive up for grabs!
If you wish to play, tee times will run from 7.00 through till 12.00. Booking will be open 8 days before via the online booking system.
Quiz Night
August’ Quiz will take place on 25th August.
