Tiger Woods Returns
Firstly, here’s a couple of articles you might be interested in about some of the obstacles Tiger has had to deal with to try and get back to competitive golf. Due to the nature of the sport, many golfers struggle with a ‘bad back’ and try to carry on playing, but it is vital to rest if you are in pain.
A look at Tiger Woods’ list of injuries throughout his career
Tiger Woods keen to show his children what he is capable of
Tiger looked in great shape as he made his return to competitive action this week at the Hero World Challenge 2017. He had rounds of -3, -4, +3 and -4 as he battled to a very impressive 9th place finish. He even had the outright lead for a while on day 2. It’s a very promising return to action for someone who has had 10 months lay off, several back operations and has seen himself slide miles down the world rankings. Realistically, it would be highly unlikely that he will get back to his prime, but we can at least hope he can start to contend.
